I've been camping for years and have used my REI tent exclusively. My family has outgrown that tent, so we decided to look for something easier on the budget than a bigger $500 REI tent. I read reviews about this tent everywhere I could find them and felt it seemed to be a nice tent. I received it last week and set it up in my yard to get familiar with it. Upon setting it up, the bottom seams where the floor attaches to the tent started fraying and coming apart. It was most apparent where the side poles attach. The corners weren't as bad, but still coming apart. The stitches were just popping! The sewing was so poor in some spots that there were holes in the fabric. I can just imagine the water this tent would take on! You obviously get what you pay for, and this was a painful reminder of that. Unknown on May 29th 2018
This tent is made very well. We just got back from a 2 week camp trip along the California coast. This tent was great. It's large, which we wanted. We had 3 large cots, a 4ft table, 3 camp chairs and a dog crate and still had room to move about. This tent has 2 doors, a T door at the end and a D door on the side. The T door was great at first, until our dogs figured out how to open the door and sneak out. The D door on the side worked better for sneaky dogs because it has a fabric flap which covers the zippers when closed and my dogs couldnt figure it out. The rain fly fit snugly to the poles and kept us nice and dry. My only wish is that there were more interior pockets for storage, and interior hooks to hang lights inside. Theres 1 hook in the center for a hanging light but we were too short to reach it. Other then that, it was a great tent. Nicole on Aug 9th 2017
